Trade display and sponsorship
NIR hardware and software manufacturers are invited to display their wares at the conference. As usual, the “Company Corner” segment will form the last session on the Tuesday, with a representative of each exhibiting company having the opportunity of making a 5-minute presentation about its latest products. This will be followed by a “Happy Hour”, courtesy of the companies involved. There will also be other opportunities for sponsorship at the conference.

Eleven of these companies will display their products at the Conference in “The Gallery” and a representative from each will be welcome to make a short presentation (5 minutes) in Company Corner.
Thermo-Fisher Scientific will sponsor the travel and conference expenses of Dr Andrew McGlone.
Foss Pacific will partially sponsor the conference expenses of Dr. Mary-Lou Swift.
Thermo-Fisher Scientific, Jeffress Engineering and TACS Australia will each sponsor a student award, and CAMO will donate a full copy of The Unscrambler to the winner of the Kaji Competition and a Ph.D licence of The Unscrambler as a poster award.
Seven companies will help sponsor the cost of the Abstract Book by means of full-page advertisements for their products, and three companies will also provide information as inserts in delegates’ conference bags.
Jeffress Engineering will also kindly contribute to the cost of the wines for the Conference Dinner.
Portable Analytical Systems and ASD Inc will sponsor a speaker, Mr Don Campbell of ASD Inc, Colorado, USA, who will present a paper entitled “NIR determination of major constituents in tropical root and tuber crop flours”. The authors are V. Lebot, A. Champagne, R. Malapa and D. Shiley. Don’s CV is attached.
