THE 16th ANISG CONFERENCE
"SOAK UP THE SPECTRA AT COFFS"
4-7 May 2014
You are invited to participate in the sixteenth ANISG conference.
This conference will be organised by ANISG, in collaboration with the New Zealand Near Infrared Spectroscopy Society (NZNIRSS). We are returning to the beautiful beachfront venue in a secluded sub-tropical rainforest setting on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, where we held the 10th ANISG Conference in 2002.
The conference brings together NIR researchers, students and users of the technology from a wide variety of backgrounds and applications in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the major suppliers of NIR equipment and software, to discuss and view current developments.
This time, two separate one-day short courses will precede the meeting. On Sunday 4th May, the co-founder of WinISI, Dr Mark Westerhaus will conduct a course entitled "Advanced WinISI Training". On Monday 5th May, Dr Brad Swarbrick will conduct a course entitled "Chemometric Techniques for Robust Calibration Development".
The conference itself will follow, at the same venue, on Tuesday and Wednesday 6th and 7th May 2014.
Please consider submitting a short paper as either an oral or poster presentation. The call for papers can be found elsewhere on this website, under "Oral and poster presentations".
The conference will feature the traditional Company Corner and Happy Hour, followed by the Conference Dinner on Tuesday 6th May.
