THE 16th ANISG CONFERENCE
"SOAK UP THE SPECTRA AT COFFS"
4-7 May 2014
This conference was organised by ANISG, in collaboration with the New Zealand Near Infrared Spectroscopy Society (NZNIRSS). We returned to the beautiful beachfront venue in a secluded sub-tropical rainforest setting on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, where we held the 10th ANISG Conference in 2002.
The conference bought together NIR researchers, students and users of the technology from a wide variety of backgrounds and applications in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the major suppliers of NIR equipment and software, to discuss and view current developments.
This time, two separate one-day short courses preceded the meeting. On Sunday 4th May, the co-founder of WinISI, Dr Mark Westerhaus conducted a course entitled "Advanced WinISI Training". On Monday 5th May, Dr Brad Swarbrick conducted a course entitled "Chemometric Techniques for Robust Calibration Development".
