The Australian Near Infrared Spectroscopy Group holds a conference every two years, in even years, alternating with the International Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy.

As a result of an agreement in 2010 between the Australian Near Infrared Spectroscopy Group (ANISG) and the New Zealand Near Infrared Spectroscopy Society Inc (NZNIRSS) to work more closely together, it has been decided that some ANISG Conferences will be held in New Zealand. ANISG welcomes this landmark in collaboration between our two countries, and looks forward to a long and fruitful relationship.

The 2012 ANISG Conference will be held in Queenstown, NZ.

The next ANISG Conference to be held in Australia will be in 2014.
